male simple B/DAY cards

My eldest son is a keen outdoor event person, running climbing walking, canoeing you name it he loves the great outdoors BBBBRRRRRRRRR! too chilly for me! LOL! I simply used 3 stamp pads in tan brown, green and blue to make a background then topped with a couple of mens toppers I believe I got them from Handy Hippo, stamped a happy birthday and fish and away you go! The motorbike card was for my daughter's boyfriend, he has a yellow motorbikeI dabbed a green stamp pad on a small piece of card, added the motorbike topper ( Handy hippo ) then stamped happy birthday in yellow and clear embossed added a couple of star brads and a stamped fish and edged the bottom with some peel off edging, ( as you have probably noticed I haven't worked out how to get the date ofF the photo yet! I am working on it LOL!)

About Me

My photo
Chris
Hello, I am a vertically challenged happy Christian, I have three wonderful adult (kids) and two beautiful grandaughters, I have lived in North Hampshire for thirty years. I lost my wonderful husband to Cancer four years ago and although having an extremely strong faith in God, needed something to while away the hours! I have had reumatoid arthritis for 19 years which limits my strength and mobility so card making is ideal for me.I got started by just making a few Christmas Cards at first and it went from there! now I have not bought a single card for three years! and I am now absaloutly obsessed, with cards and crafting!! I JUST LOVE IT! I go to crafting classes with my dear friends and I am proud to be a student of Lucy Edmondson! an unbelievably patient and craftilcious teacher,Any way before I go waffling on I will end here, Except...Can I encourage you to have a go at crafting just enjoy it, dont worry about the finished article so much, mine are always a bit smudged or wonky or some mistake or other! but thats what makes them unique! just drift off and enjoy! it is very thereputic, that really is all for now xxx p.s sorry about the spelling mistakes!
