envelope card idea pinched from my mate Jude

mothers day card (2)

I was always told red and pink was a no no! but I love it! I reckon they can go well together, I borrowed Lucy's birdy stamp,( This is definatly a must buy!) and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I used birds and swirls embossing folder on pink vellum for the door inserts, then added lace and ribbon.

faux patchwork card

This card was so easy to do! just stick different size and colour random papers on a card I used a wardrobe card for this one and with a pen make stitch like lines or zig-zags along the edge of each patch and flower.  punch a couple of holes and add a ribbon!  all done!! I got this idea from a magazine the name of which escapes me for the moment I think it may have been Craft stamper,

Accordion card

A project as taught by Lucy Edmondson, just loved making this card, I made it for my mum's 84th birthday, using copys of photos of mum when she was young , put them in cardboard frames, using acetate as faux glass, there are endless ways you can use these cards cant wait to have another go! (thank you Lucy)

male simple B/DAY cards

My eldest son is a keen outdoor event person, running climbing walking, canoeing you name it he loves the great outdoors BBBBRRRRRRRRR! too chilly for me! LOL! I simply used 3 stamp pads in tan brown, green and blue to make a background then topped with a couple of mens toppers I believe I got them from Handy Hippo, stamped a happy birthday and fish and away you go! The motorbike card was for my daughter's boyfriend, he has a yellow motorbikeI dabbed a green stamp pad on a small piece of card, added the motorbike topper ( Handy hippo ) then stamped happy birthday in yellow and clear embossed added a couple of star brads and a stamped fish and edged the bottom with some peel off edging, ( as you have probably noticed I haven't worked out how to get the date ofF the photo yet! I am working on it LOL!)
