ALTERED MIRROR FRAME An experiment that went right!
The photo's really didn't do this project justice, This was a very cheap mirror in frame that had loads of blemishes and knots in, so I used it for practise but I really quite like the result, I thought it looked a bit hippy..ish! I stamped directly on to the frame then coloured in with pro-markers, added two grunge paper flowers coloured with stazon and distress inks, highlighted random bits with glossy accents and added a few flat back gems to the cente of some of the small flowers and some flower embellishments to the larger ones, there was a notch on the inside edge, I found a tiny silver coloured dragonfly and stuck it over the notch,I got the idea for using the mirror from Lucy Edmondson, who made a beautiful Alice in wonderland theme, and also my good mate Jude Grant who also made a gorgeous Alice mirror! I have a couple more mirrors to do I am looking forward to having ago at altering them!

OOOH! lovely red wrapping paper!!!!
I made this card for my sister-in-law, I had some beautiful red cherry blossom wrapping paper(from paperchase) given to me by my youngest son Adam ,on mother's day. ooh it is so lovely I didn't want to cut it! is there anyone else out there as daft as me? just besotted with pretty paper and things? I cut out a couple of branches and blossom from the wrapping paper, and glued ithem on front, matted and layered co-ordinating paper,Happy birthday stamped on, stamped chinese dragon and glitter glued it, found some flowers snipped the stems off and glittered them and stuck them on with silicone glue (LOVE IT)! punched holes for ribbon used re-enforcers and coloured them red with pro-marker, I only had silver edged blak organza ribbon so I pro-markered the silver edge too! added a couple of red beads, I used wrapping paper for inside too and glittered the flowers, That sounded long winded! but... it's the way I tell it! Ha Ha!
